The Body Shop Madagascan Vanilla Flower

I don't wear perfume everyday but when I do this is the one I'll most likely wear. It has a vanilla scent as you can hear on the name of it. I'd say that it's quite sweet but not too sweet, at least not for me. If you like vanilla scents you will probably like this one. I'm not good at explaining scents but i would say that this is a good everyday perfume and it's not too much as some can be.

Everyday brushes

Since I showed my everyday makeup I thought I'd show the brushes I use on an everyday bases. All of them are actually from e.l.f. I almost only have brushes from e.l.f. and that's mostly because they are so affordable and some of the are really good too. I do want to try brushes from other brands, like Sigma and Real Techniques, but I think these brushes are good to start with since you get many for not so much money.

The brushes on the picture above are the ones I use everyday, and they are all face brushes.
1, e.l.f. Blush Brush.  I use this brush for applying blush. It is flat with a rounded top. The blush dosen't always apply even but I think the brush is okay and it's soft and feels nice on the skin.
2, e.l.f. Complexion Brush. This is the brush I use for powder. I really like this brush. It's not all round like powder brushes usually are. It has more of an oval shape I'd say, which I like. It makes it easier to powder under the eyes, and for me that's the area I need powder the most. I got it in this kit, that's why it has a shorter handle that the other brushes. They have this brush in the studio line too if you only want to buy this brush.
3, e.l.f. Powder Brush. This is a really good brush for liquid foundations. It is a flat top kabuki brush and I personalt think these kind of brushes are better for applying foundation that "normal" foundation brushes. I think it looks better and more flawless with this brush.

This is the brushes I use when I use eye shadows in my everyday makeup.
1, e.l.f. Eyeshadow Brush. I pack my eyeshadow on the lid with this brush. I don't have much to say about it. I don't ask for much from a brush like this but I like this one and I have two of them.
2, e.l.f. Blending Eye Brush. I use this brush to blend eyeshadows in the crease. I like the size of it, I feel like blending brushes are too big sometimes but this one isn't. It not the softest but it's okay.
3, e.l.f. Eye Crease Brush. I apply eyeshadow in the crease with this brush too but mostly in the outer corner since you get it more precise with this one. I would say this and the blending brush are the same but this one is smaller.
4, e.l.f. Defining Eye Brush. I like to use this brush for highlighter in the inner corner of my eyes and on the brow bone. It's like an angled fluffy brush and I really like it.
5, e.l.f. Blending Eye Brush. This is also a blending brush but it's bigger than the other and I like to use this to blend everything when I'm done applying. This is softer than the other eye brushes and I got in the same set as the complexion brush.

My everyday makeup

This is how I do my makeup most days. Quite simple with eyeliner, a little eyeshadow and nothing on the lips. I do change it up a little. Sometimes I don't do it without the eyeshadows and sometimes I have some colour on the lips. It depens on how long I have to do my makeup and how I feel that day.

My nails - Pink / Depend nr. 69

This is the polish I have on my nails now. Number 69 from a swedish brand called Depend. I think it was a couple years ago I bought it so I don't know if they still sell it.
However, this is a pink or fuchsia colour with a cold undertone that you can see best where the light hits it. It almost looks a little purple.
I think this is a really nice colour and a little different.

Welcome!

I decided to start a blog now after thinking about it for a while. When I read other beauty and fashion/style related blog I kinda feel like I want to have a blog like that too. Now I do. I'm writing in english even though I'm swedish because I read many british and american blogs and I thought it would be a good idea to write in english so people from anywhere can understand.
I don't know if I'm going to be a good blogger or not yet but I guess time will tell. Right?
