No Eyeliner Everyday Makeup Look

I am a big fan of the winged eyeliner and I will probably always be. But some days I like to skip it or I just can't be bothered with it. If you also like a winged eyeliner you know how frustrating it can be when they just won't look good on both eyes and you end up with either a really think line or you can't deal with it so you wash your makeup off and start all over again (if you have time). Therefore I don't do eyeliner everyday and I kind of like to skip it. It makes my everyday makeup more varied which I like. Having said that, there is still one look that I tend to do on these "no-eyeliner-days".

I first apply the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze all over my lid as a base. Then for the eyeshadows I use the Wet n Wild Walking on Eggshells palette. I use the eyelid colour on the inner half of my lid and the crease colour on the outer half, then I blend them together to make it look nice. I also take a little of the crease colour under my eyes. Lastly I take the browbone colour as a highlight on my browbone and in the inner corners of my eyes. If I want a bit more definition I take a black eye pencil on my waterline like I have on the picture above. The one I used was the Lumene Sensitive Touch Automatic Eyeliner which probably is the best eye pencil I have tried. For mascara I used the Yves Rocher Sexy Plump mascara.

Motel Rocks Bikini

If I look outside I will see snow. If I go outside I will freeze, even if I would be wearing a winter jacket and a scarf. Basically it's the middle of the winter and that's probably not the time of year when most people are thinking about buying bikinis. But I'm going to Greece in the end of May and I'm really (really) exited about that! So after Christmas I looked around in the sales and found this bikini by Motel Rocks on asos and it was love at first sight. The print on it is so lovely and tropical and I just felt like I had to have it.
I'm going to be honest. I was pretty nervous about buying a bikini online because that is obviously a piece of clothing that has to fit good. I both looked at what size I have on a bikini I already own and looked at the size guide to see that size should fit me. Luckily it fits perfect and I couldn't bee more happy with this purchase!

You can find it on asos here (still on sale) and on Motel Rocks here.

Beauty Online Shops

One of the reasons to why I love reading beauty blogs and watch beauty videos on youtube is to get product recommendations. But since most of the people I watch live in either the UK or USA they obviously talk about many brand that are hard to find or that we don't even have here in Sweden.
In this post I therefore thought I would recommend a few online shops that sell brands that you would have a hard time find in Sweden at least. These web shops are:

All of these sites are UK based (I think) and makeup is much cheaper there than it is in Sweden so even if I could find some brands, Rimmel for example, here I would still rather but it from any of these web shops. One more thing that I think is pretty awesome is that they all have free worldwide delivery. Who can say no to that?

New Skincare

A couple weeks age I needed both a new moisturiser and a new eye cream and these are the ones I bought.
I have heard good things about the whole The Body Shop Vitamin E range, and I have tried the eye cream which I liked, so therefore I wanted to try the moisturiser. They have this one which is for all skin types and also one for dry skin. I went for this one because my skin is a bit dry at the moment at the same time as I have a couple spots so I felt like this one would work the best for me of the two.
The eye cream I got is the Line Smoothing Eye Cream from Yves Rocher. I haven't heard anything about it before but I looked around on their christmas sale and saw it with 60% off and the reviews people have written there were all positive so since it was on such a good deal I wanted to buy it. Eye creams are as you might know usually a bit pricey.
I have only had these two products for about two weeks so I can't really say too much about what I think of them but so far the seem to work good for me, especially the eye cream.

Spray Brush Cleaner

I think we can all agree on that washing our makeup brushes is a really boring thing to do.That is why I love this product; a spray cleaner for you brushes. The one I have is from Kicks but I know that bareminerals make one too but I haven't tried that one so I can't say anything about how that one works.
If you don't know what this is than it's basically a spray that you spray directly on you brush (or on a paper tissue) then you swirl your brush on a tissue to wipe of the product that was on it and you're left with a clean brush. It's as simple as that.

This is not the same thing as properly washing your brushes, I still think you should do that about once a week. (At leas that's about how often I try to force myself to do it). And also, I only use this spray cleaner for my eyeshadow brushes. I don't think it something that you should use for a foundation brush for example, they need a real wash so that you're sure about that they really are clean.
When you want to use the same brush for different eyeshadows or if you want a clean blending brush I think this is a really good product to have. It goes so fast and the brush dries in literally seconds.

My Nails - IsaDora Turquoise

First nail colour of the year! And to try and have a good and happy start of the year I decided that I wanted something colourful on my nails. Even though I guess this is a colour that many would say is a summer colour I actually think it goes just as well as a winter polish. It might be because of the frost finish.
Anyway, I really like it and I'm glad I rediscovered it. I think it was over a year ago I used it last. At least as the only colour, I think I have used it when I have done some kind of design on my nails which I've been really lazy with lately.
The only downside about it is that it's quite old and they don't sell this colour anymore.

What colour are your nails right now?

The new year is here! Well, it's been here for three days.
I hope you had an awesome new years, I sure did. Spend all night until 23.30 to get ready with hair and makeup, to then sit in a jacuzzi and ruin all the effort I had put in. But who cares? This was the best new years I have had! Nothing really went as we had plan but sometimes that can be a good thing. And it really was this time.

On another note, how many of you have made a new year resolution? I usually don't but I have one this year.
I want to be more organised.
I'm a that kind of person that does things the last minute and I'm a bit of a time optimist which most of the time isn't a good thing. In order to help me with this I have bought a planner.

This planner is from the brand Letts and I tried to find it on their website but it wasn't there.
The main reason to why I chose this one was because I love the pink colour it has on the cover. Even though one thing that made me a little unsure about it is the fact that almost half of the book has lined papers, like a note book, but thinking about it, it might actually be a good thing.
So the first half is a planner for 2014 and it even goes to the 18th of January 2015, then there is a few pages that includes measurement conversion and things like that, then the second half is a note book.
Now I just hope that I will use it, and I think I will considering I like it so much.

I also want to tip you guys about this video above that MissJessicaHarlow on youtube made that I really liked where she gives some tips about how to keep you new years resolution. I really think you should watch it if you have a hard time keeping your resolutions.
